It's my 3rd visit to this amazing city, but still feels like my first. I wonder if the people who have been living here for 10-12 years still find this place amazing. Maybe this city has something new to offer everyday. I certainly hope so. The buildings, the stories, the smell, the people, the local...they have never failed to surprise me.
Speaking of locals, I was just wondering...where I living in Nagpur get to see the trains and stations once or twice in month, lives of some people move around the Mumbai local, and that too on a daily basis. Likewise, they're quite many differences. You never see people hanging their backpacks in front instead of back, but here it's so normal. There are many 'normal' things you will find here that would otherwise seem queer. Necessity is the mother of invention as they say. Necessity also makes you walk a lot. I mean, being in a relatively small city and owning a vehicle, you rarely work your legs, unless you go on a walk everyday which is not everyone's cup of tea. Here, you will have to put your legs to use at every point of day.
I also found the answers to my questions. I still haven't found the ultimate goal I am going to chase, but I do know where to look. And that's a start.
Two days have passed since I arrived in Mumbai. Fortunately, one thing hasn't changed...the booze :D
Stay blessed ^_^
